For Claude Code, Codex and Grok

Most questions never reach you.

Your agents share 1 brain and answer from your past decisions. Anything that pays, sends, deletes or deploys still comes to you.

Mac app. Runs on your machine. Early access in waves.

  • 3 need you
  • 14 answered by your rules
  • 3 agents working
  • 5 verified by a second model

A Thursday afternoon in the Inbox. Demo data.

The problem

You run 3 agents. You became their clipboard. Pasting context. Repeating decisions. Answering the same question twice.

Brainplane gives every agent 1 shared brain and your own rules. They brief each other. You keep the controls.

How it works

4 moves. Then quiet.

01 / 04

1 brain per topic.

Every deal, trip or repo gets its own brain: rules, decisions, answers, people and files. Each agent starts warm with a pack of 3,000 tokens at most. Nobody asks you to repeat yourself.

  • Decisions stay settled, with their source
  • Delta packs send only what changed
A topic page: Halden side letter v3. A flight path shows Claude Code Alpha, then Codex Bravo, then you. Where it stands, in 4 blocks, and 3 binding decisions with sources.A topic page: Halden side letter v3. A flight path shows Claude Code Alpha, then Codex Bravo, then you. Handoffs with a contract.

Work moves from Claude Code to Codex with a goal, a context pack, a time budget and an acceptance test. A reviewer from a second model family can fail the work before it reaches you.

  • Checks run before dispatch
  • A fail list sends the work back

Answers it already knows.

When an agent asks something you settled last week, your standing answer replies. Each answer leaves a receipt with an undo. Routine questions end there.

  • You pick which actions run on auto
  • Questions from 1 run arrive as 1 batch

1 Inbox for the rest.

What still needs you arrives as 1 card per topic: a payment recap, a send approval, a code from your phone. High risk comes first. Answer from the menu bar with 1 key.

  • Every card says why it reached you
  • Each answer holds 2 s so you can take it back

The crew

3 agents. 1 horizon.

Brainplane drives the official CLIs you already pay for, on your own logins. Each agent gets a callsign, so you always know who holds what.

  • Alpha

    Claude Code

The hub. Plans the topic, drafts the work and merges what the others bring back.

    Editing the v4 redline

  • Bravo

    Codex

The second opinion. Checks Claude's work from another model family, and takes the browser when a portal needs filling.

    Holding the browser

  • Charlie

    Grok

The scout. Searches X and the web, and comes back with sources the others can cite.

    Searching X

1 browser, 1 agent at a time. A lock hands the browser from agent to agent, with a queue. No more 2 agents typing into the same tab.

Room for more. Any MCP client can read the brain through the Brainplane MCP server.

Safety

Your hands stay on the controls.

Brainplane prepares everything and stops at the line. 4 actions always wait for you.

  • SendAsk
  • PayAsk
  • DeleteAsk
  • DeployAsk

It never acts alone.

Brainplane never sends, pays, deletes or deploys on its own. An agent fills the form and stops at the card field. Your card stays with you.

Receipts and undo.

Every answer holds for 2 s, or 5 s when the risk is high, so you can cancel it. Then it lands as a receipt. Steps that can be reversed keep an Undo.

Local only.

A daemon on 127.0.0.1 and a store on your Mac. Brainplane makes no model call of its own and opens no outbound connection. Your agents keep their own services.

Coming next: approvals on your iPhone, with the same holds.

3 iPhone screens. A lock screen alert that names nothing. A send approval with recipients checked, and a Hold to send button. A 5 second countdown with Cancel send.3 iPhone screens. A lock screen alert that names nothing. A send approval with recipients checked, and a Hold to send button. A 5 second countdown with Cancel send.
A quiet alert. No topic, amount or name on the lock screen. Hold 1 s to approve. The facts come from the final draft. 5 s to change your mind. Then a receipt on the Mac.

The film

1 afternoon, start to finish.

FAQ

Straight answers.

What is Brainplane?

A Mac app and a small local daemon. It gives Claude Code, Codex and Grok 1 shared brain per topic, hands work between them with a contract, and sends you only what needs you.

Which agents does it work with?

Claude Code, Codex and Grok, through their official CLIs and your own plans. Other MCP clients can read the brain through the Brainplane MCP server.

Does my data leave my Mac?

Brainplane keeps its store on your Mac and listens on 127.0.0.1 only. It makes no model call of its own. Your agents keep talking to their own vendors, as they do today.

Can an agent pay or send through Brainplane?

Never on its own. Send, pay, delete and deploy always stop for you. The agent prepares the draft or the form, then 1 card asks you. No setting moves these to auto.

What is a standing answer?

A decision you already made, saved with its source. When an agent asks the same thing, Brainplane answers from it and leaves a receipt with an undo. You choose which kinds of questions run on auto.

What if an agent gets it wrong?

Each handoff carries an acceptance test. A reviewer from a second model family checks the result and can fail it with a list of reasons. The work goes back before it reaches you.

Does it change my agent settings?

Only with your OK. Brainplane shows you the exact change first and keeps a backup.

Is it Mac only?

The Mac app comes first, with the Inbox in the menu bar. Approvals on your iPhone follow, with the same holds.

What does it cost?

Pricing comes before launch. The waitlist hears it first.

Level off.

Let your agents brief each other. Get the cards that need you, and nothing else.

We only write about early access and launch.
